Hidden house

Inspired by «Orange is the New Black» the ensemble cast in «Hidden House» has the potential of character driven stories taking place in one location: A safety house for women. 

The story of the film has the power of digging into a multitude of stories experienced through the point of view of our main character, Anne, a banker, who’s prison sentence was converted into community service. She starts serving for six months in a safety house. 

The rhythm of the film is like a page turner full of tensions, conflicts, lies and betrayal, addressing often ignored issues like human trafficking, violence against women, transgender rights and sexual abuse. 

Surrounded by a strange landscape of a removed and gated place, «Hidden House» is located in an old mansion at the end of a valley. 

There is only one road that ends at the shelter.  At times, the vibes of the place remind us of «Shining».
